Tajikistan
SUMMARY
We had the pleasure of working in this Central Asian country to train a small team in the concepts and use of hand drilling systems and water outreach. An EXP-50 unit was left behind for additional training purposes and replication by locals. Together, we were able to construct an in-country, deep well pump for less than $200 – this pump will be able to be replicated throughout the region. Several sites were identified for future water projects to be conducted as a way to reach more rural Tajik communities.
