Hydromissions has an established Field Trainer in Panama who has partnered with us for over 80 projects so far. We have been working consistently in Panama since 2014 with multiple-month long programs to train and equip men and women in the Ngobe villages. The Ngobe are an indigenous people group of Panama and live in very small villages in Bocas Del Toro (islands on the northwest side of Panama, in the Caribbean). We focus primarily on shallow borehole water wells, but have also constructed rainwater catchment systems and a latrine. We have also built a 800 meter pipeline to direct water from a spring in the jungle to homes along the waterline (where saltwater intrusion kept us from being able to install wells).
